Okay, so I was chosen to do a workshop at this year's DC Black Pride annual celebration. "Thinking Again About the Word," a unconventional workshop about the craft of writing, will be Saturday 29 May at the host hotel (I think, or wherever workshops are being held.)
The workshop's aim is to engage writers of all proficiencies in a dialogue about writing, and to provide attendees with opportunities to share and publish their work. Without giving too much of my agenda away, I will offer this: the workshop is aimed at the would-be writer who wants to get some insight into their own writing process, and about the publishing world, in general.
